Freezer Jam Class on June 27th at 10:00. My mom, Barb Bauman, will be sharing some of her secrets to making the perfect freezer jam. Many customers are intimidated by the process or have tried before and it just didn’t turn out. Barb will take your hand and lead you through the process and show you how to avoid some of the common mistakes.

Pie Making Class on July 11th at 10:00. Making the perfect pie crust is an art that can take many years to master. Fortunately for you we have spent years working on our recipe and we would love to share some of our techniques with you. We will have a large selection of berries to choose from at this time and it will be a great opportunity to learn how to make the perfect homemade pie and impress all of your friends and relatives.

Pickle Class on July 25th at 10:00. Due to the horrible economy many of us have taken to putting up our own fruits and vegetables in order to save money. One of our family’s favorite items to have in the pantry throughout the winter is our own pickles. Come to this class and learn about all of the many wives tales that are involved in making pickles and find out which ones work and which ones don’t. We will have samples for everyone to taste and find out which recipe they like the best.

Vegetable Canning Class on August 8th at 10:00. We broke our canning classes into two different parts because there are some important differences to remember when canning vegetables and canning fruit. In the first class we will look at the steps you need to take to can your very own vegetables to have available all winter long to keep your family's budget in check and eating healthy.

Fruit Canning Class on August 22nd at 10:00. This class is the second part to our canning series and it will be the perfect time of year to learn how to can the perfect peaches and pears. As a kid these were always my favorite to eat and there was always something special about helping mom can these fruits and then going back in the winter to eat all of the fruit we had worked so hard on during the summer.

Includes: Recipe Cards, Menu Samples, Wine or Beer Pairings.

TESTIMONIALS

Cooking Class

Your first cooking class was absolutely delightful and I have decided to sign up for the entire series of classes you are having thru October 08.  The chef was so knowledgeable, easy going and creative.  One could tell that a lot of thought, organization and planning had gone into this entire process by the entire Bauman Team and the chef as well as her assistant. This was FIRST CLASS all the way and I look forward to the next class on July 12, 2008!!!  Tips to those who attend – YOU WON’T NEED DINNER THE EVENING OF THE CLASSES!

Thanks Again,  Nona Martin

Wanted to thank you for a delightful cooking demonstration last Saturday. What a great event. The chef was wonderful - she has a great personality and I appreciated being able to interact with her and have her explain the recipes. Great food, Great wine, Great location, Great company - what's not to like!

I am looking forward to the rest of the series of demonstrations and will encourage others to come as well.
Way to go!
