Ordering your custom baskets for spring!!
When you custom order your hanging baskets you know that they will be designed just for you. Our staff is here to help with the design of your baskets.
The first step is to figure out what kind of light the basket(s) will be getting. Will it get all day sun, all day shade, morning sun, or afternoon sun?
Once we get that established we will help you to determine which size pot is right for you, all pots have different needs and different characteristics. Whether it is 12”, 18”, Anderson, window box, or a special pot brought from home, we will help you figure it out.
Then we talk and decide what types of plants you are looking for… big blooms, small blooms, foliage, upright, trailing, early blooming, late blooming, and most importantly what colors! Our staff is very knowledgeable when it comes to color combinations and will help you choose the perfect mix for you. Here are some of our most popular basket choices to help you begin thinking about how you would like your basket(s).

Once we finalize your combinations and a down payment is in place we hand plant your baskets to your custom designs. After a few months of growing its time for the best part, picking them up! All custom baskets are available to pick up between may 1st & may 31st unless otherwise stated when you place your order. To keep things running smoothly when you arrive to pick up your baskets it is helpful if you give us a call a day in advance or on the morning of to let us know you are coming, that way we can have them prepped and ready to go when you arrive.
All custom basket orders should be made between now and the end if February, so make sure to stop in or give us a call soon and we can help you with all of your custom order needs.
Also be sure to check in regularly for what you should be doing or thinking about for your garden at all times of the year.
Weekly Tidbit
Spring Blooming Bulbs
It's not unusual for the foliage of early spring-blooming bulbs to turn brown, especially at the tips, when temperatures drop suddenly. Although the foliage may not look all that great, the bulbs themselves will be just fine and will flower pretty much on schedule.
Now as they are just coming out of the ground is a good time to do a quick sketch of where your bulbs are. This will help when the foliage fades later in the year and you begin planting annuals and perennials in the same bed. You'll have a map of where the bulbs are and avoid destroying them as you dig.
