Pay: $15.05 – $18.00/hr Depending on Experience
Bauman Farms and Garden is a beloved family-owned destination known for its fresh produce, fall festivities, and warm community spirit. We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our Coffee and Deli Team for the 2025 harvest season!
☕ About the Role:
As a member of our Coffee/Deli staff, you’ll be the friendly face behind the counter, preparing and serving delicious drinks, snacks, and meals to our guests. This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role perfect for someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a team environment.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, smoothies, and other beverages
- Assemble and serve deli items such as sandwiches, soups, and baked goods
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cash/credit transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee/deli area
- Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with setup and cleanup of the food service area
- Support other farm activities and events as needed
✅ Requirements:
- Must be available to work weekends and flexible hours during peak season
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous food service or barista experience is a plus, but not required
- Friendly, positive attitude and a willingness to learn
📅 Schedule:
- Full-time seasonal position (July–November 2025)
- Weekend and holiday availability required

Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet customers with a smile, answer questions, and provide a welcoming shopping experience.
- Register Operation: Accurately handle cash, credit, and other transactions using our point-of-sale system.
- Stocking & Merchandising: Restock shelves, displays, and coolers to ensure products are fresh and attractively presented.
- Pricing & Labeling: Ensure all items are correctly priced and labeled.
- Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean and organized register area and assist with general store upkeep.
- Team Support: Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Friendly, positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and holidays as needed
