Retail Garden Center Sales Associate - Pay: $16-$18/hr
About us: Bauman Farms and Garden is a destination retail store that embraces a creative, rewarding, and engaging experience for all that visit.
About you: The successful candidate will be passionate about plants, teamwork, and enhancing the customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Watering and deadheading care of plants
- Receive deliveries, processing, pricing, stocking and signage of plants and materials into nursery
- Achieve sales goals Set by Department Management
- Create and inspirational destination
- Demonstrate plant care techniques
- Develop knowledge of other store departments to cross sell
- Loading and unloading of plants and materials that can be consistent of 50lbs or more
- Pass forklift certification
- Be able to stay focused on priorities in a fast paced environment
- Assist in special event set up and clean up
- Ability to drive, load and unload work gator
Requirements:
- Weekend availability
- Lifting, bending, twisting on a regular basis
- Plant knowledge a plus
Pay Rate: $16 -$18.00 Hourly
Full Time and Part time Employment Available (32 – 40 hour work week)

Bakery Staff - Pay: $15.50-$16/hr
About Us: Bauman’s Farm & Garden has been serving the community since 1895. Our bakery is known for its scratch-made treats using quality Bauman-grown fruit. We’re passionate about providing fresh, delicious baked goods to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, pies, cookies, bread, scones, muffins, and our famous Apple Cider Donuts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth bakery operations.
Qualifications:
- Prior bakery experience is a plus, but we also welcome individuals with a strong work ethic and a passion for baking.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
Hours:
- Full-time and part-time positions available.
- Bauman’s Farm & Garden is open Monday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Pay Rate: $15.50-$16.00 Hourly
