Season Duration: Immediate Hire through October 31, 2026
Schedule: 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays as needed
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

Position Overview

Bauman Farms and Garden is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our Produce Department for the 2026 season. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, working with fresh produce, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced farm market environment.

Produce Staff Members are responsible for stocking, organizing, rotating, and maintaining fresh fruits and vegetables while ensuring a clean and welcoming shopping area for customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Stock and replenish produce displays throughout the day
• Rotate produce for freshness and quality control
• Assist with unloading deliveries and moving inventory
• Maintain clean, organized, and attractive produce displays
• Provide friendly customer service and answer basic product questions
• Remove damaged or spoiled products promptly
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards
• Assist with general farm market operations as needed
• Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift and carry 20 pounds or more throughout the workday
• Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and standing for extended periods
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, including cooler storage areas and outdoor conditions
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks safely and efficiently

Qualifications

• Reliable attendance and punctuality required
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous produce, grocery, retail, warehouse, or farm experience preferred but not required
• Must be able to work weekends and flexible seasonal schedules

The Bauman Backyard Grain Bin at Bauman Farms and Garden is looking for two energetic and dependable team members to join our seasonal food truck crew! This position combines food prep/cooking with cashier and customer service duties in a fast-paced, fun environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food menu items
• Take customer orders and operate the register/POS system
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
• Restock supplies and assist with opening/closing duties
• Work as part of a team during busy events and weekends

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• Comfortable standing for extended periods
• Food service or cashier experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidates
• Must be available Saturdays and select holidays throughout the season
